Programme note
The Latin title Cor Unum—"one heart"—expresses a vision of unity rooted in shared purpose and common identity. This Olympic-style fanfare draws on the sturdy and dignified tune "St. Peter," most often associated with the text "In Christ, There Is No East or West." Also featured is the contemporary worship song "Make Us One (John 17)" from Chris Tomlin and Matt Maher. The music proclaims unity not bound by nation, culture, or background, but forged together in Christ—one heart, lifted in shared praise.
